Besides being able to travel between two of the more distinct and noble areas of the city, you can also choose to travel to Sintra or even cross the river, to the southern shore, using Fertagus.
Despite having no direct connection to the Lisbon Metro, this station is easily accessible from Roma and Areeiro Metro Stations.
Inaugurated in 2003, with the opening of the Roma-Areeiro station, Fertagus was able to expand its service thus catering to more passengers.
The station, operated by REFER, features a commercial area and works by sculptor Fernando Conduta both inside and outside the station.
